Couple of muntjac passed through at two fifty two ey em last night. Mother and baby. Not seen much of them this year. Maybe I haven’t been looking. Not sure really what they are up to. They never seem to stop to eat anything. Not in our garden anyway. A fox passed the other way only five minutes or so earlier. Their paths must surely have crossed. Is a mintjac too big for a fox to handle? Must be.
Breakfast was two slices of toast. I had to toast the bread under the grill as whoever sliced the loaf (me) didn’t do a good job and the slices are falling apart. The bread was too fresh when I sliced it. Need to buy some more anyway. Bread buying presents one of those dilemmas. Sourdough is best for toast but not particularly great for sandwiches so if you are after both sourdough isn’t really the kid.
I have a huge number of corrections to the family tree. Mostly dates. Claude has been putting me right. Gotta be done. Trouble is a will might have three dates. The date the will was written, when the person died and the date of the probate. Easy to get wrong. Also got to get some shopping done.
